It's nice to meet you!

Freelance

A black and white album cover on a black background. In the top left, there is a death metal band logo that reads 'Repressive,' but it's deliberately illegible. At the bottom, there are gravestones in the background, with an angel statue protruding in the foreground. The angel stands with one arm broken off, and holds a length of rope like an offering to the viewer. In the top right corner, there is a human head with hands growing out of it, wrapping around its face.
Repressive
A black and white album cover with a white background. A cursive typeface reads 'An Ode To Blight' in an arc above a cartoon mascot. The mascot is a cartoon heart wearing sunglasses, with angel wings and a crown, walking with a pep in his step despite being cracked and crumbling. The band name, THE BLUE GODS YOUTH, is displayed below the mascot in Helvetica.
An Ode To Blight
Album art for a band called Kill Mitchell. The words 'Kill Mitchell' are written in a sans serif font, with cursive below it reading 'a stranglehold on hope'. The artwork consists of a gas mask and roses
A Stranglehold on Hope
A text-free single cover featuring a black and white illustration, on a white background. The composition is symmetrical. On either side, at the top, there is a hand reaching inwards; in the centre, there is an arch-shaped frame with a heart-shaped padlock. Two switchblades are picking the lock. On either side of the padlock, there are smaller arch-shaped frames with streetlights inside of them, and gnarly branches growing out of them, towards the edges of the composition.
Let Me
A text-free single cover featuring a black and white illustration, on a black background, of a candle, ornamented by roses, matchsticks and switchblades. It is a symmetrical design, mirrored vertically, with arch-shaped frames on either side of the candle showing chains hanging in the background.
Linger
A black and white, round badge-style logo with a bat (the flying critter–not sports equiptment), a book, and some floral ornamentation. The text around the top and bottom curves of the round logo read 'Horror' and 'Gardener.'

About Linnaea

A 20-something-year-old woman wearing a blue hijab looks at the camera with her head tilted. The image is black-and-white until it's hovered over. She has big green-ish eyes, and one nostril is pierced with a black stud. She is wearing dramatic makeup with a red lip, sharp eyeliner and thin brows. The background is out of focus but warm with ambient brown and orange tones.

I’m Linnaea (pronounced Lin-nay-uh), a graphic design student at RRC.

I'm passionate about living with intention, learning for the sake of learning, meeting others in good faith, mindfulness, and writing.

After graduation, I'd like to find work specializing in typography, UX writing, or back-end coding. I plan to go back to school someday for full-stack web development and cybersecurity.

In my free time, I love logic/word/math puzzles, Scrabble, niche horror movies, music, birding, yoga, video games, run-on sentences, being self-deprecating, good talks, and Magic: The Gathering.

I currently live in West Broadway with two cats, Emily and Escher.
